BUSINESS STRATEGIC COPYWRITER
Strategic copywriting for businesses - it’s not just words.
Words & business strategy put together change how your clients connect with your business.
…that means, how much they actually buy from you.
If you are here reading this, it’s because you’ve finally realised that you are in the business of selling.
Whatever you do…
-photography, dog walking, running an NGO, building software-
you are selling those things.
Okay, so you know your business.
Better than anyone, as a matter of fact.
But - do you know how to sell it?
You CAN sell it in person, yes - for sure!
…but on the internet? On websites and emails?
Even… ads?
Your voice dilutes in a mix of ChatGPT and typical aspirational nonsense and, let’s face it, you have no idea what you are doing.
Selling is not just about people actually buying and paying you money - oh no.
It’s about constantly getting them to do something for you-
starting from reading the following line of the email,
to clicking on a button,
to signing up to a newsletter,
… and the list keeps going.
In the end, yes, we want them to buy from us.
But because they’ve fallen for our product or service.
Because they need it, they want it - that’s why you created it.
Because it’s good for them, it helps them, it saves them time, or makes them feel good.
Your product is amazing, you know it… but it’s your client that needs to know that.
That’s where copywriting comes in.
You’re also here because…
You KNOW what a business copywriter does.
You’ve investigated, read books, and listened to podcasts about it.
You’ve also probably learnt some formulas… and applied them, with relative un-success.
You are still struggling to grow your business to that famous “next stage”.
You may even have hired a copywriter before.
In any case, you’ve ended up with titles like “the 2 things every entrepreneur should do”, “how to get 10x more views” etc, etc.
I think you get where I’m going. Let’s move on.
Let’s dig into copywriting.
So, if you have an online business-
(and today, every business can be an online business)
…you should know that people act on what you make them FEEL.
People act on emotion.
It’s not about why you started your company, it’s not about the offer, it’s also not your branding. It’s also not your PRICE.
It’s about how your client perceives all that.
It’s HOW you communicate it.
In other words? HOW YOU SELL.
And that, my friend, is copywriting.
That’s why pages without branding still sell.
(have you seen Gary Bencivenga’s website?)
Moving on…
You don’t know how to talk to your client.
And… every month you don’t fix your messaging, you are losing sales.
And you are probably losing them to competitors with clearer sales copy.
And I really don’t have to explain to you what that means… you know it.
Hey, and it’s not just me saying that. It’s all those marketing & entrepreneurship gurus we follow (they are gurus for a good reason).
Let’s work together
So, I don’t know you, but I know that if we were to work together is because of TWO things:
First thing: You are ready, set, GO.
Let me develop that a bit:
You BELIEVE in your product, on what you sell.
You know WHO you are selling it to.
You are NOT unsure about your business, wanting to keep absolutely everyone happy (we know that’s impossible, and you are over that).
You are done with leaving money on the table on every launch.
And, you know you need a copywriting strategy.
(AAAAND you don’t micromanage - I just can’t)
Cool. Next thing.
The second thing is that you understand this story I was mentioning at the beginning.
I used to be a salesperson. An actual door-to-door knocker.
Spoiler: I was not very good at it. (Surprised?)
This was in Wellington, New Zealand, back in 2016. Rain, wind. You get it.
I was eating $1 pies from the supermarket daily (my health unthanked me for that later).
Selling felt heavy. I showed NEED. And, we all know, that’s not very good for sales.
I knocked 100 doors a day, and followed a script I learnt by heart. I got maybe one, maximum two sales a day, and more often than I like to admit, zero.
And the sales I did make?
When I didn’t follow the script. When I actually connected with the person in front of me and talked about something else entirely that they were actually interested in - THEN I would sell.
So…
The point I’m trying to make here is - there’s no SCRIPT you can follow that will give you consistent sales.
There’s no such thing as a formula that will make you actual money (yes, eyeing those AIDA, PAS, BAB…).
Yes, it will help you not be terribly bad at it, but it will not make you grow.
(nothing against a good structure over here, at all)
And you’ll be begging for clients. Door knocking style. In the rain.
If you want to sell, your next step is investing in copywriting. That’s how you ended up here, on a copywriter sales page.
So, what do I do?
I offer a strategic copywriting service for businesses.
How you present your product, how you advertise, how you write your emails - everything is copy….
When your messaging is on point - it hits the right people.
That is, they buy from you.
When your voice is consistent, people trust you.
That is, they buy from you, and they recommend you.
When you show up repeatedly, people remember you.
That is, you come to their heads when they need a problem solved.
If you work with me, we’ll be working as a team, and your business will have a consistent communication strategy.

Copy Tip #1: build trust
There’s no point in selling something for $67 one day and then offering it at 50% discount the next day.
If I bought it at $67, I’ll feel betrayed by you.
And you’ve now lost a customer
(because those who buy from you once, are the most likely to buy from you again. And you just lost them).
So … you can only raise your prices, never lower them.
Until next time !
